About our Service
The Customer Journey
We don’t just swap parts; we build a roadmap. Every project follows a disciplined five-phase journey to ensure your vessel is safe, organized, and reliable.
The Alignment
The Deep Dive
The Roadmap
The Build
The Handover
We start with a brief Discovery Call. Instead of just asking "what’s broken," we ask how you use your boat. Crucially, we discuss typical price ranges for your specific project goals here to ensure our premium standards align with your budget before we move forward.
Initial Contact
Once aligned, we perform a paid on-site audit to scope out your current systems and, for larger refits, design the "M.P. Marine Blueprint." This eliminates guesswork and forms the technical foundation of your build.
Consultation & Design

You receive a line-item quote including ABYC compliance steps. We explicitly list what is and isn't included, so there is never any "Bill Shock."
Clear Estimates and Expectations

Our team executes the installation using the Roadmap. We provide mid-point check-ins with photos of our progress, proving the value of our "Extra 5%" while the floors are still up.
The Roadmap In Action
We finish every project with a "No Black Boxes" walkthrough. We show you exactly how to manage your new power and navigation, ensuring you leave the dock with total confidence. and understand the function of each individual component.
Operational Confidence
Service Rates
Our rates reflect the specialized expertise and marine-grade standards required to do the job right the first time.
Standard Labor
$180 per hour (2-hour minimum applies to all service calls).
Emergency/After Hours
$300 fee + 1.5x standard labor rate.
Travel Time
$120 per hour (calculated to and from our base of operations).
Design and Consultation fees
$250 -$650 for standard electronics & up to $1250 for Lithium & Full Refits. (Note: This fee is applied as a credit toward labor upon project approval). Full vessel & custom wiring diagrams are billed at standard labor rate and will be handled on a case by case basis.
Our Commitment to Quality
We don't just hope our work holds up; we guarantee it in writing so you have the same confidence in our work that we do.
90 Day Workmanship Guarantee
We stand behind our hands. On top of all manufacturer warranties, all labor is backed by a 90-day guarantee. If it isn't right, we make it right.
Customer Supplied Parts
To ensure system integrity and warranty protection, we generally do not install customer-supplied parts. Any exceptions are subject to a 25% handling fee and carry no warranty from M.P. Marine.
Marine Grade Products
We exclusively source and install high-quality marine-grade components (Victron, Garmin, Blue Sea Systems) billed at MSRP. We do not use "automotive-grade" parts that fail in the salt environment.
Shop Supplies
A charge (not exceeding 10% of total labor) covers high-quality consumables—heat-shrink connectors, tinned-copper wire, and marine sealants—ensuring your boat is protected from the inside out.
"I’ve spent years navigating the New England coast, and I know that a boat is only as reliable as the plan behind it. Whether you are looking for a state-of-the-art lithium upgrade or a complete electronics refit, our goal is to give you total control over your vessel’s DNA. Let’s stop the guesswork and start building your operational confidence.”
